Schools are now required to publish key information online. This includes the publication of the amount of Pupil Premium received by the school, what it has been spent on and any measurable impact of that spend.
The Pupil Premium: Free School Meals is allocated to schools based on the number of children who are eligible for free school meals. From 2012-2013, it was expanded to include all children who have been eligible for FSM within the last 6 years.
Schools decide how best to use it to ensure that these pupils achieve their full potential.
